Coast to Coast: A Run For Survivorship
is pleased to announce that the Yale Cancer Center Survivorship Clinic will be one of the primary beneficiaries of the donations raised by this event. The Adult Survivorship Clinic at the Yale Cancer Center provides care and consultation to people who have been diagnosed and treated for cancer and focuses on the long-term effects of cancer, surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. The multidisciplinary teams consist of physicians, specialized advanced practice nurses, social workers, nutritionists and other medical specialists who focus on the special problems of patients and their families both during and after cancer treatment. High School Challenge Beneficiaries

 

In addition, Coast to Coast: A Run for Survivorship will be designating additional Cancer Research, Treatment, and Survivorship Non-Porfit beneficiaries in conjunction with the High School Challenge Teams. 

 

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults National College Scholarship Program was established to support the financial needs of young adult’s who’s lives have been impacted by cancer and are seeking higher education or professional school training.  Coast to Coast: A Run for Survivorship and The Ulman Cancer Fund have partnered to create State Scholarships for each state in which a high school or  college runs for The Ulman Cancer Fund. 


  

The University of California, San Francisco Cancer Resource Center supports wellness and the healing process by providing survivors and their loved ones with information, emotional support, and community resources.  High School Challenge athletes in California will run to raise funds and awareness for The Cancer Resource Center and its survivors.

 

 

The H.O.P.E. Clinic was created to provide support and education to childhood cancer survivors of all ages. This is becoming more and more important as so many children and adolescents have survived their cancer. The Children’s Hospital was one of the first in the country to offer a clinic focused on survivorship. They are committed to helping each survivor live the  healthiest and fullest life possible. Denver's East High is proud to designate The H.O.P.E Clinic as the beneficiary of their funraising efforts. 

 

 

All donations to Coast to Coast: A Run for Survivorship, a Challenge America Foundation sponsored event, are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
